At what age do you begin enrolling children?

Little London is a Montessori preschool and prekindergarten.  We begin enrolling children when they are 2 years old.

Do you provide meals?

Children eat breakfast before coming to school and lunch is provided from home.  Snack is served once in the  morning and again after nap.  Please let a teacher know if your child needs their lunch heated.

Does my child need to be in school at 7 am?

Children do not need to be in school at 7 am.   All children must be in school by 8:30 to line up for class.

When is tuition due?

Monthly tuition is due by the fifth of each month.  There is a 10% late fee for tuition received after the fifth.  Please refer to the Monthly Fee Schedule for more information.

Which holidays do you observe?

We keep with the Elk Grove Unified School District holidays and state and federal holidays.  During Spring and Winter Break the classroom is closed, but the clubhouse remains open for full time children.  If daycare is needed the clubhouse rate applies for non-full time children.

What is your sick policy?

Any child running a temperature, severe runny nose or cough, or has thrown up will be sent home.  We ask that you use your best judgement in deciding whether to send your child to school.  In certain cases a doctor note may be required before returning to school.

Do you go on field trips?

Of course!  Throughout the year we go on a variety of field trips.  We carpool to our destination.

What is the communication between parents and teachers?

At Little London we have an open door policy.  If you have questions, comments or concerns on any subject, big or small, speak with us.  We are happy to answer any questions you may have!  We are here not only for your child, but to help you in whatever capacity we can.

Is your school owned by a corporation?

Little London Montessori is family run and operated.  Our school has been part of the Elk Grove community for over 30 years.  For over 25 of those years it has been owned, run, and taught by members of the Godamunne family.
